We've been asked if our girls are triplets or twins I think we would be rich! I swear we get asked every single time we go to a store and it doesn't matter when we say no because the cashier or person always says "are you sure?" uh yeah I'm pretty sure I did give birth to them. They don't really look like they are THAT close in age do they? Jylian and McKenzie are 18 months apart down to the day and McKenzie and Alyssa are 4 days shy of 2 years apart.
So the fighting and bickering between the girls in the house lately has just been unbelievable! I don't remember fighting with my sisters this much but I guess its possible.
The other day Mckenzie and Alyssa (the 2 youngest) got in a fight and McKenzie came downstairs and told us that Santa needs to put Alyssa on his "bad" list and says he has a bad list you know.. It was so hard to take this matter serious and not bust out laughing so hard. Then she told us the other day "Michael Jackson died cause he had a bald spot you know" I told her that no he did not die from a bald spot and she proceeded to tell me that "mommy his hair caught on fire and he got a bald spot so he died" Oi Vey! This girl I think I could write an enitre book on things she says. She has even gone so far as to tell an adult "that is NOT how we treat other peoples things and that is not how we act." She is only 6 and sat down with my mom a few weekends ago and had an entire conversation with her on why my mom and dad are no longer together and what'd they do that for ect. She is one deep thinker I tell ya!
My hubby has been gone since Monday morning and comes back later tonight. I know its not a very long time at all but I still miss him like crazy. He's my addiction! We have been together for over 8 years and the comment was made the other night by a friend that we still act like "newlyweds" that made me happy. It's a very rare thing when two people love eachother more and more each day. Our love just keeps growing and growing. Have I mentioned we are renewing our vows on our 10 year wedding anniversary? I'm excited!
Brenns arm is getting better! He is able to stay in his hard splint and take it out everyday to do range of motion so he doesn't get a stiff elbow. We go back again end of next week to see how it is healing.
I had to cancel my allergy testing appointment because it was for the afternoon that we were at the docs with Brenn. So I go on the 4th, I made the mistake of googling allergy testing and holy cow it does NOT look fun at all! YIKES! I know I know I should know better than to google stuff like that esp medical stuff!
Weightloss!! It has been going GREAT! My first 3 weeks I lost about 14 lbs. I was so happy! I am still working hard at it and can totally tell a difference in my face and waiste! I think I will always have flab on my belly from being pregnant and having such a HUGE belly with Alyssa ( measured 6 weeks ahead from 20 wks on) I was GIGANTIC! But I have told Brenn that once I loose all my weight and can keep it off for a little while I want to save to have that removed ( unless by some miracle it goes away too) but that I want to get some new boobs too HAHA! I don't want to have rocks in socks boobs! Flabby tabs whatever you may wish to call them.
I see the sun has been shining more often but boy is it ever just teasing us! You think its all warm and nice out and you step outside and freeze.. Not nice Mr.Sun! Not nice at all! But I do love seeing it and hearing the birds chirp chirp chirping away. Which brings me to a question. Do you ladies in the neighborhood hear that rooster at all times of the morning day and night? Anytime McKenzie hears it she tells me its time to get up the rooster is crowing. I wonder if he is blind and can't tell what time of day it is hahahahaha

Basketball n stuff
Who ever knew playing basketball would cost so much! Brenn went and played basketball a few nights ago with some friends and while playing he took a charge (don't ask me what that is cause I don't know haha) and caught himself with his right hand. He continued to play for about 45 min after that and stopped cause he was hurting and said his arm wasn't quite working right haha (not nice to laugh but it sounds funny) He came home and he did not sleep at all I don't think. I kept asking him if he wanted me to take him to the ER but he figured he would just wait it out until morning. The doc was able to get him in and even she thought he just had soft tissue damage but still sent him for an x-ray (thank goodness) and sure enough he broke his arm at the head of the radius. Just a tiny bit further up his arm and it would have been his elbow and that would have meant surgery for sure! So he is in a hard splint until Thursday when he will be x-rayed again and they will decide from there if he gets a hard cast or gets to go back into a hard splint. His hand started swelling yesterday and I am thinking it is because we have been go go going since it happened but then today he says how bad his wrist is hurting and I don't think they checked his wrist at his appointment so first thing tomorrow morning I guess we get to call again and ask about that. So the next time he goes to play basketball I hope he remembers he isn't a young buck anymore and that he can't play like a young kid can!
HIVES!! That is my problem! I get covered in hives every couple of months for weeks on end and the doc hasn't a clue why so I am to see an allergist and have testing done. I actually had my appointment scheduled for the day my husband went in to the docs but had to cancel. He wanted me with him and I didn't have a problem with that. So now my appointment is rescheduled for March 4th and I am really hoping they will find some answers. These are hives that NOTHING helps. It even took a few days worth of taking prednisone to get them to calm down.
My sweet girls!! They are off from school for a few days due to Presidents Day and parent teacher conferences. They are already at each others throats. I remember arguing with my sisters but not when we were this young! If its not someone fighting its someone tattling. Don't get me wrong they do get along and when they do its quite well, but man oh man some days I think I am going to loose my mind!
Our Valentines Day has been nice. We had a day of not doing much at all except watching movies, making sketti and the girls played the wii (Rockband) It was a nice relaxing day for a change. I hope you all have had a wonderful day with those you love!
Is it spring time yet??!!

Have you ever had a day where
You just want to go outside and scream obscenities at the top of your lungs? I'm not that type of person but today I think I could and I think I would do it loud enough that people in other towns could here me. But instead I think I will hop on my treadmill and work out the anger, that may help.
The treadmill that brings me to a whole another part of my life. I have been on this amazing weight loss/gain journey. A year and a half ago I lost 60 lbs in a few months, I will share before and after pictures once I get all of this figured out. I worked hard at it and counted my calories and I worked out 5 days a week. I was so proud of myself. Then we made the move to Emmett and I gave up. I completely gave up. I gained back a lot of the weight I lost but you really can't tell. I can still fit in the same clothes which is weird. I am back on this journey of weight loss again and have been doing well. My husband has been a rock. He has been dieting and exercising everyday with me. We have fun. We love to cook and we are enjoying trying out so many new healthy but yummy recipes. He made an amazing turkey chili for the superbowl yesterday. He told me last night I won't beable to share each and every recipe with you all but for the most part I could lol. He has hopes of one day opening our own restaurant/bakery and wants to have those "secret" recipes. Little does he know how many recipes I have already shared OOPS!! Atleast they have all been "my" recipes and not his. I couldn't share his recipes unless he wrote them all down for me. He keeps them all in his head and even when he DOES share them with people he leaves certain little things out that make it his"own".
I know that right now I am just typing for myself. No followers yet but I hope that someday I will be able to intrigue people. Make people want to come back everyday just to peek and see what I have going on that day.

Finally getting started!!
I started up my page long ago and never did a thing with it and have finally decided to start. I figure it is a good way to keep in touch and find out how everyone is doing and let everyone know how we are doing.
We love cooking and baking here and I will probably share my recipes, cakes and food advice on here for those that are interested. I have been teaching myself how to make "fancy" cakes and get the pleasure of making my very first wedding cake come September. You will all get to see my works in progress :)
The girls are all getting so big! Jylian is in 2nd grade this year and is such a sweet girl. We call her our second mother of the house. She takes care of her little sisters. McKenzie is in kindergarten this year and is one of a kind!! She holds back at nothing and has no problems telling you what she thinks. Alyssa will be 5 this year, our "baby" is going too be 5 and that just blows me away!! This girl is something else, she may be the youngest of them all but boy is she the boss!!
We moved to Emmett a year and a half ago and absolutley love it here. We have met some of the best of friends and have had some of the best of times.
I'm making this short tonight, I hope you all will enjoy following us on our journeys, triumphs and yes there will be some downfalls, that is a given.
